Monica is sent back to her hometown, Lucarador, to learn what was driving people crazy down there. She is accompanied however by her husband who sees it as an opportunity to get away from the city life and learn more about her childhood.
When she gets there, all fingers point to Elara, a new addition to the town who has people wearing scarfs around their eyes and basically turning blind. Her research on the internet shows no record of who this stranger is but she doesn't give up to unmask the true origin of Elara.
Her historical books make her shiver as to what she finds.

Knowing there has to be a way to save her town she starts working non stop against Elara, all in hopes to save her town.
